Return and Refund policy

At UZE, we take pride in delivering high-quality products that meet your expectations. Nonetheless, we recognize that there may be occasions when a product does not fully meet your expectations or arrives in a defective state. For such instances, we are committed to providing a clear and straightforward exchange and refund process to address your concerns effectively.

By purchasing and using a product from UZE, Inc. or its affiliates (collectively known as "UZE"), you acknowledge and agree to the terms of our one (1) year limited warranty ("Warranty"). This Warranty outlines specific terms, including limitations, exclusions, and disclaimers that you must understand before using your UZE product. If you find the terms of the Warranty unacceptable, we ask that you do not use the product and return it within the return period as specified in UZE's Refund Policy. Please note that orders placed through crowdfunding platforms are not eligible for refunds after the campaign's closing date or 10 days following a purchase made via InDemand/Drops.

Our goal is to ensure your satisfaction with our products and to support you through any issues that arise with an efficient resolution process.

Website orders

Our 30-day return policy means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

Refunds

To be eligible for a refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, contact us at support@uze.tech. Returns need to be sent to the address below, though depending on your location, an alternative address may be provided:

You will be responsible for all return shipping charges. We can assist by providing a return shipping label, paid by you, along with instructions on how and where to send your package. For third-party returns, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method.

We will notify you upon receiving and inspecting your return, and inform you if the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember, it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund, please contact us at support@uze.tech.

Please note, items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

  • Used products, products without the original packaging, or not in their original condition.
  • Sale items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned.
  • Gift cards.
  • Crowdfunding pledges are not refundable after the campaign is closed.

Crowdfunding orders 

Cancelation of your pledge is possible before the campaign closes (when the campaign is live) by going to "Manage your Pledge". Refunds are not possible after the campaign is over.


Damages/ Exchanges/ Issues

Upon receipt, please inspect your order and immediately contact us at support@uze.tech if you encounter any defects, damage, or discrepancies, such as receiving the incorrect product. To efficiently address and rectify the issue, we require a detailed description of the problem, accompanied by photographs or videos, for a warranty claim evaluation. For valid claims, UZE will cover the cost of the new shipping label and replace the product at no additional charge. Additionally, we may require the damaged item to be sent to a specific location, also at UZE's expense.

Warranty

Warranty Period

All UZE products come with a 1-year warranty from the date of receipt, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. This warranty is valid only with proof of purchase from UZE or an authorized dealer. If a product is replaced within the warranty period, the later will not reset upon receipt of the replacement. The standard coverage remains 1 year from the moment of the original product's receipt.

 This warranty does not apply: (a) to consumable parts, such as batteries or protective coatings that are designed to diminish over time, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; (b) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic on ports; (c) to damage caused by the use with third-party products; (d) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, liquid contact (for non-waterproof products only), fire, earthquake or other external cause; (e) to damage caused by operating the UZE Product outside the user manual, the technical specifications or other UZE Product published guidelines; (f) to damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not a representative of UZE or an UZE Authorized Service Manufacture ("UASM"); (g) to an UZE Product that has been modified to alter functionality or capability without the written permission of UZE; (h) to defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the UZE Product, including but not limited to the wear and tear of ports, which can affect the device's functionality over time; (i) dismantling, disassembly or negligent use, or (j) if the product is stolen or UZE reasonably believes that the product is stolen based on information provided by law enforcement authorities, or (k) failure to pay for the product.

If you submit a valid claim under this warranty, UZE will, at its option:

(i) repair the UZE Product using new or previously used parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability, or

(i) replace the UZE Product with a product that is at least functionally equivalent to the UZE Product and is formed from new and/or previously used parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability, or

(ii) refund your purchase price in exchange for the return of your UZE product.

If you have received a replacement product from UZE due to a defect in the original product and the replacement product appears to be malfunctioning, you may be eligible to receive a second replacement. In order to qualify, you must return both the original unit and the replacement unit for inspection. UZE will cover the cost of shipping the units back for evaluation. It is important to note that any claims for additional replacements will be null and void if the original and replacement units are not returned undamaged and in their original condition (i.e. without any signs of tampering or force, not dismantled, disassembled). A replacement unit will not be sent until the defective units have been fully evaluated.

 

We reserve the right to refuse an exchange  or refund if the product or claim does not meet the above mentioned requirements.

Liability

In no event shall UZE be liable for:

  1. any losses that were not caused by our breach of this warranty document;
  2. any loss or damage that was not, at the time of your purchase of the product, a reasonably foreseeable consequence of UZE breaching this warranty document; or
  3. losses relating to any business of yours, loss of profits, loss of data, opportunity, and Personal/Business Products.

The provisions of this warranty document shall not apply to (i) death or personal injury, (ii) fraud or gross negligence, or (iii) fraudulent misrepresentation, or (iv) any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded as a matter of law.
